Job Posting – Inside Sales/Customer Service Manager
Headquartered in Southeast Houston, TX, TreadWright Tires is a recycling company that remolds and distributes the most environmental and affordable light truck & SUV tires in the industry. TreadWright Tires use 70% recycled materials to drive customer prices 40% below name brand products. We are looking for an entrepreneurial mind set to improve customer service and account retention. Specific experience with direct marketing campaigns, customer service/call centers and government (GSA) Contracts.
- Experience managing a customer service department or call center. Script writing and general customer service training for a staff of 3 is required.
- Experience processing and resolving warranties. Responsible for evaluating the warranty, processing credits and all product returns.
- Experience with QuickBooks and all customer related transactions (orders, payment, credits, returns, pricing, etc.).
- Manage the direct marketing campaigns for 1,000+ customers in 5 market segments. This position will be responsible for the creation of these campaigns along with all customer follow-up strategies.
- Initiating online, phone or mail research surveys to better understand customer’s needs and preferences.
- Responsible for evaluating the success of various direct marketing campaigns, calculating the cost per inquiry, sales and ROI of all direct marketing activities.
- Maintain databases of customers (Shopify), which will allow TreadWright to email new products or special promotions.
- Manage all e-commerce orders (Amazon, website and e-bay), which includes order generation, pick tickets and all FedEx shipping requirements (administration functions).
- Experience with call center incentive programs to move customer service personnel from order takers to high level sales professionals.
- Experience with e-mail blasts (Mail Chimp) and managing this database. We are looking for better strategies to reach our customers with the right message in the right frequencies.
- Experience winning GSA contracts. TreadWright recently became eligible to bid on GSA opportunities.
Education and/or Experience:
College degree is strongly preferred with significant experience in direct sales, customer service and account management. We are looking for someone who has brought a new product to the market with a proven track record of success. Experience vs. Education will be considered.
Depends on experience. Sales experience in the oil & gas, farming, automotive and construction industries is a huge plus. However, we are looking for a candidate who has a history of success as an Inside Sales/Customer Service Manager. $40K-$60K w/ 20% bonus/commissions potential.
Job Conditions / Safety Requirements:
Work is performed both in a normal manufacturing/distribution environment with lifting requirements up to 25lbs. Applicants must live in the greater Houston, TX area. No relocations benefits are offered.
